It was a great ride today, thanks to the leaders.

I was in the Tail Gunners postion all day and the group looked great from the back.  Everyone had a safe ride and thats what makes great rides.



Now, this was the first time I saw a bike trailered to a local ride ??

Great route, great weather, great bikes, great folks...  It just don't get any better than this.  It was good to meet everybody, I'm looking forward to next time.   Special thanks to Dan for leading and Doug for tailgunning...  Good job!  And Chad for coming all that way to join in...   Sorry I didn't get to personally meet each one of ya, I'm such the extravert ya know, but we'll try to next time...  plus those of you who didn't get to make this one.

I had snapped some pics on the road (or so I thought) but not being able to read the LCD screen on the camera in the sunlight, I didn't realize till I got home it was griping about my memory card not being seated...  So we'll have to do retakes!  Let me know when...

At our last fuel stop I was listening to something about Graphics on a black bike. Just wanted to know where the graphics came from they looked really good.
Once again it was a very good day. Someone needs to invent a sunscreen mister the automaticly apply it and and air conditioner for seats.....Doug got me good!

When we came out from eating I knew my seat was going to be HOT.  So I asked Monty to check out my bike and have a seat on it  (hehe - he climbed on and cooled it down - it worked) Thanks Monte.

The graphics came from Dawgs Cycle Grafix.  They've got a good selection of designs, and they can also create decals from your own design at a pretty low cost.  Also check out www.purpleharley.com.  

I think if I ever do it again, I'll take it to a body shop and have them wet sand, put the decals on and put a couple coats of clearcoat over them.

Hey Morgan we missed you too...    You better not bail on the next one..!!!   Let's plan another ride.  How about Sunday Sept. 9th.  That gives everyone plenty of time to plan on being there or bail out.    Let's try and do better than yesterdays 23 scooters..!!!
