Hi all, I got a new tattoo last night on my wrist.  When I got this thing last night I didn't think about the ride Sunday morning with some of the X'ers.  Normal tattoo care is keep it clean, keep it moist, stay outta the sun, etc.  Since it's brand-spankin' new, if I bandage it up and clean it a couple of times along the ride, will it be ok?  Or will the sweat and rubbing of a non-stick bandage not be a good thing?  I hear sweat is bad for new ink, but I REALLY want to go on this ride tomorrow morning.  Just want to make sure I don't screw up some beautiful work.

Ask your artist, but I doubt it'll be a real problem unless you sweat PROFUSELY.  It's not that "sweat" is bad for a tat, but sweating a lot from the pores under the tat can push ink,  Ergo, tats in some areas are more prone to the issue than others.  You don't sweat a lot at the wrist.  Keep it dry, bring along extra bandage... my opinion, but as I said, ask your artist.

so that is what you had under all that tape, and gauze, and the bandanna, and the sunscreen, and the plastic bag, and the steel wrist cuff, and the long glove.  sure is pretty though
