snake, i will try to get down there in the next weekend or so, that one place is on 16 right outside of llano isn't it? did you ever get ahold of anyone at the ladybird campgrounds? that would really be the best place to have it, closer to good riding, eating, and hotels.

The last week of April a P. G. R. group has been at the Koyote and could be a repete. They (Koyote) will let me know if it is a conflect. As a group we can get a 10% discount off the listed prices....

I had a call back from Koytoe, and the PGR group is comming ,but they could handle both groups....(as of now) for the last weekend of April.... also I see Lady Bird is not a state park, it is a municipal park so state park RULES would not be a factor....

How many people typically show up for something like this?   Has Uvalde been counted out to hold the event? a couple of campgrounds available, Lots of river roads, Hill country riding. Sorry, I am new to this forum, but I was curious about those things. I may be able to help. I will have my VTX 1800R in 9 days.

TXcruiser, Usually 100+ attend. Most of the attendees are from Dallas/North Texas, Houston/East Texas, and Central Texas. The Fredricksburg/Kerrville are is the most centrally located for all. Uvalde is at the SW edge of the Hill Country. Although there's great riding in the area, it's an additional 2 hours further travel time.

Y'all give me a call/email if you head out to check on these places. If the weather holds this weekend, I might have the time (and would love an excuse for a long ride) to give'em the once over. I will post it as soon as I know if I can get away this weekend.

O. K. I am home from the oil change... Jerry also would like to meet up some where... Here is what I plan to do if it works for y'all..... I can come down I35 to Austin and meet where ever is good on 290....Time is up to those that want to meet in Austin(all I have is time but I would like for it to be early) Ride to Fredyburg and look at Lady Bird Park (time is ???Lunch??) if too early ride to Koyote and look at it (lunck there) Talk things over..... If necessary I or we can look at the place in Llano on my way home...Austin tell me when to be there and where....Give me a adress....
