Another smile furnished by Honda
« on: July 20, 2007, 01:51:46 PM »

This is my grandson on the 1977 Mini Trail 50 that his Dad, uncles and half the neighborhood rode back in the 80's and still do when they come home. I still have more to do to it but seeing him on it smiling with that toothless grin was a goal worth working toward.

Way to go, Dusty!  I know that sight made it all seem like very little work!  Enjoy that.

Hang on to that image because the real thing was much worse.
When I got it running again I just had to see what it would do. I waited until after dark so noone would see me.
Wrong....had to stop and talk and when I took off again, second gear brought the front end up and I dang near went over backwards. It may have been a little heavy in the rear end.  ::) I parked it.  ;)

The helmet is bigger than he is. ;D  I'm sure he will have many fun miles on it.
