Song is complete

A few weeks ago, i posted the link to a "rough" of a song that I wrote called "Let Me Die In Texas" and a few of you all responded with some pleasant and appreciated comments about it.

The song is now recorded and mixed and mastered. I was gonna go back and find the thread and email just those folks that responded...but too much time involved to ferret that out...decided just to post up again.

Its a country song. If you don't like country, ignore it. I wrote and produced the song and play rythm guitar only, someone else sings and I added piano and Steel guitar. If anyone in my rather small VTX fan club wants an mp3 or copy, post or email and I'll send one.

Songwriters live for Bourbon and compliments. ;)  Yall make me feel great.

I'm going outa town to the hill country tomorrow to meet up with Jeff for a ride on the 3's Saturday. Anyone's invited that wants to go. I'm  kinda rushing to get everything done that I need to before I leave. When I get back, I'll get everyone's email in front of me that wanted an mp3 and get it over to you.

All kidding aside....songwriting is a passionate passtime for me. We've all got interests that mean a great deal to us for various reasons. Your compliments about the song make me feel great.

Martin, I can't express just how much I like this song.  It hits so close to home, with so much feeling.  It has replaced "Amazing Grace" on bagpipes as the number one song to be played; when I need it in about 20 years or so...awesome dude!  Would love a copy of all your songs, how do I get them?

Great Song, We just got back from Hill Country, we love to hear Texas singers and songwriters.  I would like one of the MP3's, but how do we get the full CD?  We heard Thomas Michael Riley at Hondo's in Frederickburg, he was a hoot to watch and hear.
