Crankcase paint
« on: July 04, 2007, 02:45:42 PM »

My 06' 1800F (<1100 miles) has some chipping of the crankcase paint.  I was wondering if I should go back to the dealer and complain or hit the area with high temp paint?  Part of me says I should Buck Rogers a bit because it's a new bike.  I'm not sure what the dealer can and will do.  Anybody with similar experience or opinion is welcome to chime in.

Turns out the dealer will take pics and send them to the home office for Honda to decide what to do.   The dealer expects we'll make a  part swap.

Thanks to all for your input and helping me confirm I still got hair on my peaches.
