At work, two people I work with had a altercation. One choked the other in front of witnesses. The witnesses broke it up. It was reported to the foreman. As soon as was possible. The foreman wasn't there, and wasn't answering his phone at the time. After 4 hours in the foreman's office, both returned to work, Matter closed, Next morning The victim had a change of heart. It becomes official, The powers that be are angry. They are after the victim because a similar incident involving shoving happened 6 months ago that was not reported. involving the same two, Yea I know. I am a friend of both of them. The perp hates the victim because he worked with the victim's father and hated him. The Perp is a ticking time bomb for any man smaller than him. I have been there with this man my self,on way more than one occasion, but he knows I will stomp his Cranberries. Still he pushes my limit at work. Over the years I have learned to deal with him. we are friends. His explosions are related to his personal life. The victim though a pain in the Cranberries, screw, anyone for a attaboy, type guy, lazy to the bone, with enough computer skill to suck his way up to relief foreman, went home, talked it over with his wife, thought about, what he would tell his son to do, and changed his mind. To tell the truth I am glad to be rid of the both of them. I just have a problem, with the way it is being done. I have no dog in this fight yet, The company is trying to imply that those who broke up the altercation used excessive force to do it. They did not. With the exception of the two involved. The other three acted mostly with built in reactions, no thought involved. One ran, the other two broke it up. One shoved the perp from the side to break the choke hold, causing him to stumble but not fall. The other got between, as the anger went off the scale. I don't pretend to know what the company is thinking. I will not loose two good men who were guilty of being there when it went down.
