inspection sticker placement

anyone know the law on where the inspection sticker has to be on a bike?  just change out the plate cover on the goldwings, but theres nowhere to put the inspection sticker with the new covers....

I use the plate that goes under the tag, Around 2$ at any bike shop.

well, we replaced it with a massive piece of chrome that takes up the entire area of where the plate goes...

The law says it will be at the rear of the motorcycle, near the license plate...I've seen 'em everywhere though.TRC 548.255 (b)(1), in case you're looking for the texas motorcycle law governing this.
