« on: June 03, 2007, 03:01:08 PM »

We made it ok from the rally... Kebs bike did not lose any parts on the way back... for those of you that don't know, Kebs bike went down (she is ok, she was not riding the bike)... Hope that Mark makes a speedy recovery...  hope everyone made it ok.

I took off from home Friday, planning on going around 100 miles to finish my first 1000 on my bike...  Ended up at ROT and back home 650 miles later...  Good stuff...

I'm not really sure of what happend, all I know is that her bike went down while he was riding it.  I don' know Mark's name on the board... but he got hurt (3 broken ribs).  The bike had to be trailered back.

That's why Becca's bike didn't lose any parts on the way back.  They were all on the trailer. O0

In seriousness though, I hope Mark is ok.  That name doesn't ring a bell with who it is on the board, but hopfully he'll post when he's back.

Very happy to hear that Mark "only" broke some ribs!!  Hope he gets better soon.  No laughing Mark!!  It only makes the pain worse!

Becca - You OK?  Sorry about the bike.  Very, very happy Mark is OK though!!

Glad everyone made it home OK. Sorry 'bout Mark and about Kebs bike. I can relate to the trailer thing tho. I had to do the same thing to mine. Woke up Saturday morning at the camp at ROT and my bike wouldn't start. I had to trailer it to Wood's here in Austin. I think one, maybe both coils went out on her. I hope Mark (whoever he is on the board), makes a speedy recovery. Cracked or broken ribs HURT!!!!!! Period.

Hey everyone, His board name is ANTWERKS his wife and him had met some of us at the T-Bone Tom's meet in greet. Everyone I met this weekend was awesome and are really great people.  I wish him a speedy recovery, but it doesn't seem like it will be so speedy.  I talked to Denise his wife today and they were going for another Dr. appiontment.  It was the Harley and the spot where he went down was a very bad spot by 4th street.  Dwight was with him and they were waiting for the ambulance and said they watched 6 other bikes go down in the same spot.  There were no lights and the pavement just ended into some railroad tracks, Dwight was on the outside of the tracks and Mark was in between them. My front tire apparently just sunk into that railroad rock. Dwight said the only two bike to make it through were his and another fat boy with wider front tires and the ones with tires like mine had all gone down.
