Don't forget the awesome meet we had at Iguana Joes. Way on the east side, but the turnout was great, and the food was pretty good too.

im a regular there.  can eat and drink all night for 4 bucks ;D

my apartment is quite literally right behind it, so i always walked up there

I want to set a recurring event on the calendar for the meet, but it doesn't look like I can.  I'm still looking into it.  If anyone sees that I'm just missing the option to do it let me know. ::)

While we're on the calendar subject, we should also try to get something together maybe on at least a quarterly basis for a weekend get-together.  What say ye?

Maybe see about adding Sonic Night on a Friday night once a month.
Sonic on 45 & El Dorado is almost always empty.

Some folks (Xlr8 & meXimelt)  would love to see everybody but can't make it on Wed night. 8)

How about just putting no the calender North, South, East, & West and just let everyone work from there.  That is if we are going to continue with this format.  I don't think that eateries are the problem, just seems to be confusion when it comes to what side of town we are going to meet on.

just a thought..

cool.. or you good have one on Thursday as well for those who can't make it on Wednesday. If people want they could attend both :-X

That idea has come up a few times, and I'm all for it. We might get to see Mike and Patti more often that way. So if we do a thursday meet, will you be a no show for that one too. ;)

Thursdays are good too.

I'd go to sonic. I can see those kids trying to rolerskate up to my bike and put the tray of food somewhere.

My idea was about getting together to do something fun, like bowling, BBQ at a park, etc.  I can always do another bike night, too.

My suggestion (not worth a hill of beans).

1st Wed of the month North side meet and eat.

2nd Friday of the month a Sonic bike night.

3rd Wed of the month East side meet and eat.

4th Sat of the month a bowling night. Somewhere central.

Just my thoughts and it will give most of us a good ride.

Thoughts?

What about a once a month get together around the lakes or parks?

Conroe, Sealy (park), Sam Houston (park), Texoma (El Campo area). Just a few ideas. Maybe meet and sit around and stare at each others bikes and talk about stocks and retirement ventures.

I second Outriggers. I know one of the managers may be able work out a special or something. They have waterside picnictable seating outdoors top and bottom deck, also indoor tables and booths upstairs & 2 bars.

good fish tacos, fried shrimp and bloody Mary's.
