I joined the site a while back and just haven't had much time to get involved.  I hope to change that over the next few weeks, we'll see how things go.  Anyway, I live North of Fort Worth in Justin kind of behind TMS.  I have wanted a bike for about 30 years and finally got my X in January.  I have about 2500 miles on my bike so far and I am starting to have fun and get more comfortable riding.  My longest ride so far was a 500 mile ride a couple of Saturdays ago to Texarkana and back. 

Hopefully things will slow down a little after the next couple of weeks and I can make some some of the rides.  I travel a lot with my work and the next couple of weeks have weekend plans too

My Bike (so far) - 2006 VTX 1300R (Black Cherry), Switchblade Windshield, Cobra Highway Bar, Studded Bags with Easy Brackets, and Kuryakyn grips.

Looks like a great site, I hope to meet some of you soon!

Thanks for the welcome, the next couple of weeks I will be traveling but hopefully June will be a better month.  I wish I could make the Bluebonnet Thunder Rally but we will be in Iowa that weekend.  I look forward to meeting some of you soon, I will be sure and keep an eye out for Justin too.

That's just too stock! We'll have to do something about that! Aint even got road slime on it, you didn't clean it already did you? You know you aren't suppose to clean it untill it has 5K on it

That was in January when it was new, I have added quiet bit of stuff (studded bags with easy brackets, Honda line deluxe backrest and carrier, and iso grips.  I will get a new pic later this week when I get home from Mexico.  There are lots of things I plan to add, light bar, head light flasher, rear marker light mod, pipes, gps, touring seat, .......... the list goes on!  SO MUCH FOR A CHEAP HOBBY
