Here are a couple pics I took of a Gal on her V-Rod rigged out for a short person.  If you decide to go with a V-Rod, I may be able to put you in touch with her husband who did the work on her bike.  I remember him telling me that he changed out the handlebars.

Girl, You would be just too BAD on something like this.  The V-Rod would be much easier to ride than a VTX, IMO.

Jerry are you calling me short?     j/k   Seriously, it didn't need any adjustment, it was a perfect fit. I have never felt to comfortable on a bike.

The salesman said it would do 150 easy and the regular Vrod will do about 135 so its probalby a good thing that it is not in the budget.
