We took Mikayla in for a checkup yesterday in Dallas.                 

 

They lowered the Viagra dosage.  We are now down to 1 dose daily.

 

With the problem that she had where her veins were not connected to her heart, there was a hole in the septum that divides the left and right side that, as you remember, was what kept her alive for so long.  When the surgery was done, the surgeon did not close that hole.  He decreased the size, but left it there as a “pop off valve” in case the pressure on the right side got too high while she was recovering.  He said that it shouldn’t cause a problem, but if it does, he could always go back in and close it.

 

God said, “I’ve healed her.  She doesn’t need that hole any longer.”  He has closed it himself, and she is completely recovered.

 

There is no longer any swelling on the right side of her heart, and Doctor Riddle said that she is expecting to be completely off of the Viagra when we go back next month.

 

 

“TREAT HER LIKE A NORMAL CHILD, BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT SHE IS”!

 

Her pediatrician called her “boring”!

You know, it's funny you should mention that.  I haven't even seen one of those pills since they taught us how to make our own suspension.  My wife has those things very closely guarded.  I don't know if she doesn't want me to steal them, or if she's been slipping them to me in my iced tea.  But you know, I sure have been excited about iced tea lately.
