Thanks Dave, I'm assuming that it is a freak occurence. No one on the FJR board seems to have had the problem.

While we're talking about new bikes...keep your eyes out for a used Busa.  I'm back in the market.

I don't like the george foreman grill on the side and the busa is proven.  Not to mention there aren't ZX-14's out there cheap enough yet.  I'm going back a few years on the Busa unless a screamin deal comes up.

No...at 450 miles the ignition lock broke and the bike has been at dealer for a week waiting on a part from Japan.

I'll say it for you......

"Well Dayum,  and I'm the one that bought the Harlaay"

NO, I will not kick a man when he is down...

I'm just glad my bike does not require a key...  one less thing to worry about, either way I'm sure they will get it fix for u.... some day...   ;)

It requires a key in your pocket until the battery in it dies. O0

Gabe, What has happened to you?

First comes the willingness, no...eagerness,  to pay way too much for a mototrcycle

then you make certain that everyone (on the Honda site) knows what you paid  (THREE Hondas worth, etc)

Then the little sissy cocker spaniel avatar dissapears in lieu of the devil banging a besieged angel from behind

Then comes a Tattoo.

Gabe, I am so worried about you. What are you gonna do next? Take a hammer and knock out one of your  teeth? :'( :'( :'(

Oh, oh! And you infected Becca with all this...you know Becca, the woman that you are not dating, but always with. ::) ::)...... ;) ;D ;D

Gabe,,,please come back...please!

I found this on WebMD

"Harley Syndrone"

Complete fixation and obsession with Harley Davidson motorcycles. Almost always leading to an obsession with anything "Harley" notwithstanding the cost, e.g. coasters, wristbands, keychains, parkas, purses,  boots or anything else bearing the Harley Davidson logo or insignia.

The person can be intelligent and hardworking with good employment and good income, yet obsessed with convincing the the world at large that they are "biker trash" through the display and accumulation of tattos, doo rags, leather apparel bearing insulting quips and, of course, the HD insignia.

Countenance often deteriorates into an angry vacuous stare and speech becomes increasingly characterized as "tough guy bubba talk" in which no sentence is spoken not containing the word "Harlay"

Once a person begins the very steep slide into this syndrome, there is little prospect for recovery.
