Reasonable price for tires in DFW area

What is a reasonable price to be paid for a set of tires in the DFW area for a 1300 C?  Need a set pretty soon.  Would love to just get the tires and take the bike and tires somewhere locally to get mounted and balanced.  Also, I just surpassed 8000 miles on the bike this weekend.  Is the service for every 8000 miles or for the initial 8000?  Can't really afford to get that done every 8,000 miles if I can get by with it.  Will do it if absolutely necessary, but would like to add goodies to the bike at some point as well.  Thanks for the help in advance!  Hope evryone's weekend was great and have a Happy Easter this coming weekend!

Hey Dave~

Check hondadirectline for tires and then take the tires and the bike to a dealer if need be.  Hal usually has a 10% off sale.  As far as the 8000 mile service the only thing that may be hard to do is the valve check/adjustment.  I'd see about doing everything else myself.  Much cheaper thus more dinero for goodies.   O0

Are Metzeler ME880's a pretty decent set of tires?  I saw a set on HDL for around $240?  Anyone local to meet or beat that carries those?

Darkside is installing a car tire on the rear. Lots of people do it and the tire will last for 30-40000 miles.
