Help with lights
« on: March 24, 2007, 11:07:22 AM »

I had some led lights put on my bike a few months back. They work great.

Anyway I bought some more they are a different type. I wired them to the same leads from the other lights and thats where the problem is. The original lights stay on but are dim and the new lights stay on with the switch on or off.

My question is do I need yto just go ahead and get a different switch for the new lights?

Also the new lights come on with a hot wire and a wire touching the metal anywhere. The original lights don't they have to have the hot and ground wire.

I haven't done any wiring in over 30 years. I guess I forgot a few things.

Any help would be appreciated.

Never mind I figured it out. I guess I just had to walk away for a while.
