Bluebonnet Thunder Rally IV Registration Form - 2007
« on: March 12, 2007, 03:32:02 PM »

Rally time is upon us, and attached you'll find the 2007 BBT IV registration form.
Please complete a registration form for each person participating in the rally.
Take special care to read, and fill out the registration form completely. All the information is needed. As I receive your registration, I'll e mail you a confirmation/receipt.

I wrestled with an on line payment program, ie. Pay Pal, etc., and came up with several reasons not to pursue that direction. Less than 1% of the membership had a challenge with sending in a check/MO. Due to the handling fees on such accounts, we'd have to raise the registration fee to compensate ($2). I would personally have to open a checking account to attach to the program (Monthly fees,$$$) I'm a dinosaur, and don't trust on line banking. A $.39 stamp is cheaper. It takes considerable time to put together the rally, and make sure things run smoothly. Doing it the "snail way", is easier for me, and I hope you'll respect the decision.

Thanks in advance for your participation. Please complete the registration form immediately, and get it in sent off. I'll keep a running list on line, so you'll see who's attending. Don't be left out.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.

Regards, RD

Just checked the site. Everything seems to be working. If anyone has problems with the form, e-mail me at mike@westcherry.com and I'll make sure we get it working correctly.

Sometimes, Acrobat insists on opening files in their own window. Most of the time this is no problem, but if this process stalls, it can leave a blank browser window open. If this happens, you can right click on the link and save to file to your drive. Then open it directly with Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Sometimes, updating to the latest version clears up problems. You can get the latest free version of Adobe Acrobat Reader at:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

See 'ya there,
Mike

TKS Mike. I had tried to update to adobe standard and had renamed my reader so it wouldnt get corrupted, then the standard file I had "imported" from another computer didn't work. I had forgotten to rename the good acrobat file back in the adobe folder. I got it now.

Well, that beats registration forms in the mail today, and NO checks.

Perhaps you should incorporate a clause in the registration forms:

O, YE WHO REMIT FUNDS NOT ACCOMPANIED BY THE REQUISITE REGISTRATION FORMS, LEGIBLY EXECUTED, SHALL BE DEEMED BY THE KING'S (that'd be you, RD)  PROCLAMATION TO HAVE CONTRIBUTED TO THE BEVERAGE BARREL (think Budweiser here), AND AS PENANCE FOR THY TRANSGRESSION THOU SHALT BE CONDEMNED TO JOURNEY ANEW DOWN THE PATH TO REGISTRATION, AND SHALL OFFER UP NEW FUNDS SWADDLED IN THE PROPER PAPERWORK.

Just a suggestion. Does it seem too innocuous?
