HOW BOUT A IRON BUTT RIDE

Now that the we have some nice weekends heading our way, I'll like to know if anyone will be interested in a IRON BUTT ride...  destination to be deternimed...  please post if you are interested (I think a small group 6 to 8 bikes would be nice), But anyone is welcome... let me know...

Well, if I do it on the R1, it would take me about 8-9 hours... Includding stops... not sure my fellow VTX riders can keep up  ;)  either way, you are going with me!!!

probably. I'm booked for the next two weekends, but we'll get it done. too bad I sold the corbin seat from the monster. maybe I'll have to get jason's mustang seat and put it on the vtx.

I'm ready to do the saddle sore sometime this year.  I've done 2 iron butt's with one being official so I'm ready for the 1500 mile.   :D

Sometime I'll do the CCC.  The coast to coast to coast.

im leaving april 1st for a 1783 mile ride to cali, does that count as iron butt? O0

meh, dont think ill make it....  supposed to take 23 hours, will prolly ride 14 or so the first day and stay somewhere and ride the rest the second.... will prolly be just over when you count in the overnight stay....  >:(

In 1999 a group of us went to Sturgis and stayed an extra day so we had to ride straight back.  That was fun... :D :D ;)  After about 500 miles you don't feel your butt anyway. O0  But around the 15th hour you are so tired if ride at night you freeze your Cranberries off. :o  The coldest part of our whole trip was from Dallas to here.  I pulled into Conroe at 2:30am.  The bad thing was we got sun burnt coming down the Kanas City turnpike is 105 degree heat. That could be why we froze between here and Dallas. :o

I would be up for a long ride if I can get away. O0
