Finally... after three years!
« on: February 27, 2007, 04:26:09 PM »

As some of ya'll know besides motorcycles, my other form of entertainment is playing guitar.  I ordered a custom shop Jackson Guitar three years ago and it has finally been completed and now rests in my grubby little hands.   ;D  This thing kills....   O0

Anyway, here she is....

Yep....  Three (3) years ago....  Ridiculous wait time but the quality is superb.  Jackson Guitars has lost a couple of endorsees due to the turnaround time associated with spec to build.

That is AWESOME.  The wait paid off.

I bet it sounds as good as it looks.  Are you going to post something on your myspace so that we can hear it?

You should paint your X like that.

Thanks man...  None of it is really special...  Mostly instrumental acoustic stuff.  I've got some of the headbanging stuff too but put more of the laid back bluesy stuff on myspace.  I appreciate the compliment.  Download the AppleSauce out of it....  I ain't getting rich from my music.   ;D ;D ;D

You Rock, I checked out your tunes, I have a son who plays similar to you. He does keys, drums, and gitfiddle. I have all the toys - the the recording stuff, He has and does that. I am happy to be at the campfire, and occasional dive, stage with my playing. I first heard a 12 string while waiting for a Mac flight to the islands in 74, I went and bought a Delta 12 string, next paycheck. 6 years later I was still trying to tune it. I can play, I taught my son, but he left me sucking dust, a longtime ago. The talent I discovered through all this, is that I have a thing about coming up with words to any tune. I plan on going to West Lake La, after BBT. If we can hook up we will jam.

Thanks for the compliment, but I really like to describe my music as "struggling"....   ;D  I wish I could say that I make my money with it but as my old College Baseball coach said, "Son, I like you.  You got a lot of heart.  Unfortunately, you you just ain't got enough talent."   ???  I guess that carries over to the music, too.   ;D ;D ;D
