DUMB QUESTION TIME.

Its sunday, and I have a dumb question...I know I know, no such thing as a dumb question, just dumb people that ask questions..... but nonetheless here we go. What is a derby cover? I see em, in tha catalogs but which is the derby cover? so shoot me, Im ready.

Well.....a Derby Cover....it's really very simple. A Derby Cover covers the derby. Which is that thing that's covered by the Derby Cover. Got it?  O0


I think they can only be found on a Sportster. In other words, I don't know either.  :-\ O0

Think Harley, big twin..... think left side of engine....think outer primary cover.   The older models had an inspection cover for the clutch that was shaped like an old style derby, hence the name.

 It appear's we have just discovered that there really is such a thing as a dumb question, and we also found out that it has multiple answer's.
