Advice on lubing the throttle cables on 1300.

I will be replacing my clutch and throttle cables w/ stainless steel lines this week. According to the info when I purchased them, they were pre-lubed.
My question is do you need to lube the points where the cables attach as well and what type of lube?

Thanks,

Doughboy, you can call me any evening. During the week I'm usually home by 5, but I never know when I'll have to work over. Just call; if I don't answer I'm not there.
