this is what I would do... take it to the local dealers of what ever bike you want and have them give you a bid on how much they'll give you, (I'm sure you are going to different places to check the bikes out) if you go by them by the end of the month, they will be more willing to make a deal with you... what ever bike you get, let them know that how much you pay for the bike as well as how much they give you for your VTX will determine if you buy from them.I did that with my car, I just got a new truck and I had 6 dealer compete for my business.I got a hell of a deal that way... Just keep in mind that motorcycle dealers don't have a huge markup like car dealers do... I do believe they have a factory kick back if they sell a certain # of units. If I were you... I'll keep the VTX and get a second bike... I'm sure you can make room for a second bike with your 3 car garage.P.S. Once the weather is nice we should go for a beer...P.S.S get the goldwing....
I think Martin wants more oomph and less weight. The Victory wouldn't qualify for either.
