spare helmets
« on: January 10, 2007, 05:12:36 AM »

anyone have any spare or old helmets laying around they dont need and will sell pretty cheap?  dont really care what size or color... prefer full face but anything would help.

just started airbrushing helmets and need some to practice on to try out some ideas....

its taking what little restraint i have to not paint mine.  its the only one i got and with it getting a bit chilly, dont wanna be stuck without it.... ;)

I think we may have a couple in my dad's garage that don't get used.

If you start doing new ones and need a some just let me know . I'm a dealer for several brands and types and can get you some way below retail if you buy a few.

And if you get really good at it ,think about setting up at a rally somewhere and doin names, etc on helmets. The few guys i've seen do that have made some pretty good money.

you can practice on mine, but I want it back.  I'd like to have a turtle shell paint job.

I may can make it also.  Have 2 or 3 helmets.  Do we get them back after you are done having your way with them?  May be cool hanging in the garage!! O0

at the momemt, i wouldnt recommend giving a helmet youd want back to wear....  these would literally be just to practice laying out a design and seeing what works....  when i get done with it, ill post a pic and whose it was and if ya like it, then you can have back, if not, ill prolly just paint over it and try something else just to keep practicing...

if you have some ideas of what youd like on it, ill see what i can do.  but i wouldnt be expecting too much just yet  ;D

once i get confident enough and think i can actually do it, then i would take some serious work and do em for ya... O0
