I remember seeing something about a ride Friday, Sat or Sun (Dec 22, 23, 24) to welcome SgtStever back and, more importantly, eat BBQ.  (Sarge has been away long enough to call him an illegal alien.)

Is my memory worse than I thought? :-\ :'(

Is this the one? Looks like they were talking about the 21st before it fizzled.

Looking at the weather, looks like Friday is going to be the best day to ride this weekend unless you are into cold and damp.

Yep - that's it.  Missed or fizzled.  Either way, does not appear to be anyone riding Fri or Sat.  Almost tempted to do a "Lone Rider" to the hill country.  I think it hear the Friday fish at OST calling me.

Old Spanish Trail restaurant in Bandera.  Buffet style eating.  Their Friday night fish is usually excellent.

I'm not strong enough to miss a great riding day like today. (Also, I'm a bit worried about rain tomorrow afternoon.) I'm headed out in a few minutes.  Don't know if I will get a room tonight or ride back.  Either way, I won't have access to the board. If there ain't a post here then I stayed the night somewhere. Give me a call and we will hook up.

I road to work this morning and was wishing I had gone with ya Pete. We're shutting the office down now and I'm gonna cruise the rest of the day.
