Open Heart Surgery for my daughter

Monday, 12-18-06, my 6 month old daughter will have surgery to correct a congenital heart defect, that we just found out about on Tuesday 12-12-06.

My wife has started a blog, and you can read updates there.

Needless to say, I won't be riding for a while, and will be at Medical City Hospital in Dallas for the majority of the next month.

We need prayer.  If you think about it Monday afternoon, please say a prayer for Mikayla Graham.

 Prayers have gone out and will continue for ya'll and especially little Mikayla. It is scary when we have a sick child and we would do anything to take thier place but kids are tough and bounce back fast.

It is amazing what the medical field can do these day. Just last week a man told me about his wife's heart surgery for a hole in the wall that seperates the heart chambers. They went into the heart through an artery, repaired the hole and she was up walking that afternoon and back home two days later.

I pray that Mikayla wakes up in her own bed Christmas morning!

I will say prayers for yor Daughter and the rest of the family. God has a plan for everything including this. It is hard when this involves one of your own. I've been there and know what you are going through. Be strong and PRAY!

Pray with your daughter God will see to it that she understands Daddy is praying for HER.
