Another wheel question?
« on: December 16, 2006, 11:55:41 AM »

Is a 2002 VTX1800 S model spoke wheel the same size as a 2002 VTX 1800C model cast wheel? Any help will be appreciated.

I believe the front was the same size Mark. The rear tire was the main diff...the S was a 15 incher I believe, whereas the cast is a 16. Not sure of rim width differences, never new of any.

I'm thinking of trying to put a spoke wheel on the front of my Wing. Just curious of the size of the S model spoke wheel. Thanks Snake

Mark, measure your axle diameter and the width of the stock wing wheel w/spacers.

Lot more room on the Wing to play with as far as the spacers go. The axles are the same diameter...
