VTX Vibration, agrhh!
« on: November 13, 2006, 11:17:35 AM »

OK, my new VTX1300C has this serious mirror Vibration problem which prevents me from seeing anything recognizible in the mirrors.
I checked to make sure everything was tight and it is so just wondering if anyone else has the problem???????? If so, any other ways to fix it? I guess change the mirrors.

The flat glass mirrors (aftermarket) always show the vibration more than the oem convex glass mirrors do. There are isolators that rubber mount your mirrors that you can get at places like JC WHITNEY. They really don't help an awful lot though.

I'd imagine overall things need to be tightened up since I bought It brand new with 0 miles! I'll vibrate it out till the 600 mile adjustments and let them know. 400 more miles to go~
