LSR Meet & Greet
« on: November 04, 2006, 06:53:20 AM »

Man, what a turn-out!  So glad to see everyone, visit, and what a great give-aways.  The companies, organizations, and individuals are to be applauded for being so generous. Really would like to send a big "thank you" to Seabrook Beach Club for hosting us, the free food, and reduced drink prices they offered.  Paul, you did a great job of setting this up, and I think everyone in attendance truly enjoyed themselves.  For those who were not able to attend, Pics will be posted soon.  Now, on to the ride for Saturday!   ;D

Rides, this time of year, can be hoped for, but not planed for. A ride of 600 mi from home can be done, but it is a risky idea. I have rode a few times in ice and snow and can say that I don't enjoy it. I'm not into trailering my bike, but I have kin in south La, That I love to visit. It's only a 100mi ride from there or less. Next year I will find a way to make it happen. I have planed time for BBT, and Denver, next year. I will work on this one.

Made it home just fine.  What a great weekend!  Great to have met everyone and glad that our group was not involved in any of the accidents.  Next year can't get here quickly enough!
