Interesting. :-\ Kinda looks like a Snowmobile, or Seadoo with wheels. When I was in El Paso, I looked at a 850cc Polaris quad. It was HUGE! I'd be scared to death to go fast on something that has a high center of gravity.

Anyone have a take on why the subtle swing to road-worthy quads?

as many quads I've seen rollin over off road I don't think I would want to ride one on the open
road with a bunch of cagers. So how do you lean into a turn???

That's my thought also. It goes back to that high center of gravity. They mention 100mph. Most anything can go fast in a straight line. What about a 50 mph curve? :-\

I dunno why a version of Buckminster Fuller's dymaxion car has taken so long to gain interest...That car got 30 mpg in the 1930's! It could go 120 mph and hold like 10 people inside! Check out these videos, more importantly the last one.

http://shl.stanford.edu/Bucky/dymaxion/movies.htm#

The car was in a bad accident, practically ruined Fuller's career becuase it rolled over and someone died...but things like that now-a-days can be tweaked for safety, and I hope they come out with something soon.  I heard in my architecture classes there will be a prototype based on the dymaxion, called the Aptera Hybrid.  It is supposed to come out in 2006 and be on sale in 2008.
It would be a nice a nice addition to the motorcycles, however I don't think the intention was to replace your day-to-day vehicles, however utopian it may seem.
