easy now pepx,  I was just reminded about poor taste on another one of my post...we need to use alittle more political correctness ;D ...so, ask your self was that really neccessary. :D :D :D :D....anyway Just kidding...but I was bashed for hurting someones feelings and of all felonies thread highjacking....another story for another time....

What, I was asking was the petcock is on the left side under the tank if your on the bike...the dent was on the right upperside portion of the tank....you think that still could have effected it (the dent from the fall)

andrew

I dont need political correctness, I have a spine  O0

I wouldnt think that would affect it at all, maybe something happened where they did the repair work. putting a plug in it overnight is a great idea, that would isolate the parts.

the outlying areas of San Francisco has the best plugs available  O0
other than that, not sure where to buy just one or two plugs to fit, sometimes paint supply houses have plugs and caps.

Not sure exactly why, but when I removed the lines from the petcock valve to check it, and then reattached the lines...no more drip.  Guess it's fixed.

Fuel leak has re-appeared.  Was going to head out for a PGR ride this morning, and fuel has run from the petcock all the way down the side covers and to the floor.  So, no ride.  Instead, a bit of wrenching.  And, of all days...look at the weather out there!!! >:( >:( >:(
