BigPro,

It depends on what kind of picture viewing software you have on your computer.  Most
software packages include the ability to re-size a picture.  If you don't know what you have,
sometimes you can just double click on one of your picture files and the computer will open
it up in whatever software package you have.  If you haven't purchase any photo-shop type
software, then Microsoft Picture Editor may have come with your computer.

give it a "double click" and see what it pulls up in.

It's easy, if you have Microsoft Office 2003, you should have a program called Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Resizing is very easy.

1.   Open the picture using Microsoft Office Picture Manager
2.   Click on the Edit Pictures button
3.   A bar with different options should have opened on the right hand side (it may already be open)
4.   You should see the following options:
•   Correct Pictures Automatically
•   Edit Using These Tools
•   Change Picture Size
5.   Click on Compress Picture and choose what type of medium you will be displaying the picture and the program will compress the picture. FYI, by compressing the pictures, the quality of the pictures will be reduced.

You can also reduce the size of the pictures by resizing the pictures.

1.   Open the picture using Microsoft Office Picture Manager
2.   Click on the Edit Pictures button
3.   A bar with different options should have opened on the right hand side (it may already be open)
4.   You should see the following options:
•   Correct Pictures Automatically
•   Edit Using These Tools
•   Change Picture Size
5.   Click on Resize and choose the size that you want of the different options you are offered or you can set a custom size.

you can also change the quality of pix taken in your camera setting on the camera.Lower quality usually means more pixs and a smaller file. You can google it and read the pdf formated manual from manufacturer.
