You're right, it is a neo fender, and it's on a 1300.... I believe I'm the first and only person to have it according to VTXOA.  However, it doesn't "bolt right up" to the 1300.  It's a pretty moderate modification that Brian (VTeXan) can fill you in on more than I can...

The only thing I remember was him calling me with the prices, and saying "oh my %@&#ing God!"

You have to buy not only the fender (IF you can find one used, it can be anywhere from 300-500.. a dealer sells it for about 1200),
the tail light (211.50 from HDL),
neo fender struts(600-1200),
neo support bracket(50),
new turn signals(50-100),
an 1800 seat(50-300),
nuts and bolts(30),
a neo license plate bracket,
2 days of labor,
plus fiberglass, body filler, and paint.

Cost of Undertaker fender?
369.00 unpainted
300.00 paint

Our costs? Add it up... ;)

I think anyone who'se looked into it will tell you to just get the undertaker fender.

I was looking at a Neo fender on E bay that sold for $305.00 and they have another one with 2 days left on it!! The bad thing I see about it is that they charge $48.00 buckeroos to ship it!! Here is the link if someone might get lucky!! ;D

Well, Brock Jim and Maria are right. I'm not sure if the inner fender strut is the same hole/stud pattern.  But it is and you have a retro the fender itself will bolt in.  There's more involved in finishing it out though.  Maria's was a C model so not much was reusable (I think only the shock mounts)  If you are interested give me a pm and I can walk you through it.  That being said if I had to do it again I would go with the undertaker fender.  It's much cheaper and allows for more options and it's much cheaper :D

a guy on the national board said it would bolt to a retro....  not really sure.  its no big hurry, so if i see a neo fender going for sale cheap ill pick one up.  if not, by the time im actually ready to do this, ill just order an undertaker...

thanks for all the info O0

So by now, who has put the neo fenders on the Retro 1800?  Will a retro seat still work with the Neo Fenders?

On the 1800 Retro what parts are needed? A parts list would be good.....
