Just want to put my .02 in:

The reason for the limited number of people, is due to state/local laws concerning occupation space. The resturant has a privite room, but due to the size, they're allowed only a certain number of people to be in that space.
Last year, we had about 25 people, and we were unsure how the response would be this year. The space this year, is almost twice the size of last years, and, in true fashion for the Texas X Rider's, we have had an overwhelming response.
If you are on the "A" list, and for some reason you won't be able to attend, please let Paul know as quickly as possible so he can move the next person up.
For those of you that are attending the Lone Star Rally for the 1st time, I think you'll be very impressed. It's a great time, and Galveston really turns it up. By Saturday afternoon, you'll come to appreciate all the effort that Paul has put in to organizing these events. I figure, where's the fun, if you don't have an opportunity to share it with your friends. Thanks again, Paul.

Ok, since all the places are spoken for, it looks like in order to put this bad boy to bed we all need to pay up by some date to keep our slots else the unpaid slots go to those on the reserve list.

Hey Jerry thank for trying to help. Lets wait and few more weeks and see how this thing is going. I also want to kinda get an idea of what the weather is going to be like as well for that weekend. You can usually get a 10 day forecast to see what the weather will be.
