As long as there was only one hand on your shoulder you are still ok. Maybe not good as new , but just slightly used. ;D

Looks good Bryan. You're going krazy with that Dremil. Stay away from the painted parts! ;)

I saw Brian's work when I was in Groves with the RAT riders.  It looks really good.  The final drive is really shiny.  Good work Brian.

Dremel only for #6 jewlers rouge in tight spots that I can't get phneaumatic die grinder with 4" buffin wheel, all the sanding has to be done by hand....7 hours for lower triple tree and the forks below them..still have to remove blinkers and do the uppers

Nope, beleive it or not they are much easier to maintain once all the machined grooves are gone...about once a week, I apply a thin coat of mothers polish, rub it in with a terry cloth rag, and hit it with the mothers powerball,....daily after a ride to work, or whatever, I use Honda spray polish, pig spit, or whatever to remove bugs and road grime...this was and is much more difficult on a machined surface as oxidation, grime and bugs get in those grooves....smooth is better, on all surfaces

Those polished forks make a big difference.  Looks good.  Lots of work tho.

The best things usually are...my favorite things I have done to my bike, are the polished alum. mainly because they are pretty much the only things I've done myself, like I said I'm no wrench, and they are the things that get noticed by other VTX owners....owners of other bikes, don't really notice...but in order to truly appreciate these bikes you have to own one....if I feel the need to impress someone who owns another type of bike, I just out run them...
