 I joined in August 2003
I don't know how old the club was when I joined, fairly new I suppose.

9 years since the last post, I thought a few of you would like to see about how this site came into being. The temp preceeded urls are not able to be accessed anymore as that was a temp gallery site set up by Tapper for us to use after hackers took the site out around the beginning of 06. Tapper got the site back up, but had to put the Gallery in a temp location, no longer available.

Such is the life of a hobby.  I used to be on TexasATVs.com and was big into off-roading but that hobby passed and so did the website.  With the fact that the VTX is now on the endangered spcecies list it's hard to generate new membership when the old ones leave.

I've been a member since '04. Registered as wcsmike. Changed to "hobo" after I got back from "administrative leave" in '06. I've met some great people at BBT, including a crazy old guy called "Hooter" who has become one of my closest friends. Got some "SSSSSSsssssnake" stories too!  :c :c :c

Hey Guys, I have attended everyone and the second one was where I met Chad.  Those were wild times compared to the today crowd, but we are older and wiser now so we don't do some of those stupid things either.  Like Chad said a lot of great memories and some nice folks.  Hope to see everyone again this year.

I'm pretty sure I joined up some time early in '04.  IIRC, Jim saw me posting over on the VTXOA site and told me about the local Houston group.  From that point on, I was hooked.  I had only had my bike a few months and they brought me in like I was one of their own.  Now you'll never get rid of me.   ;D

Late arrival here, 07, found out about the group and BBT on the net. Didnt join right away. Rode out first to see what kinda outlaws was involved. Was the last year at Luckenbach. Met a guy named Smooth X , Tom VTX and RD . Been around ever since. Good fun then with some real characters but having a great time now with some more characters. 13 years and the TEXAS X RIDERS still live.

I first met the X Riders at Joes Crab Shack in Arlington. I had just bought my X two weeks before. About six VTX's pull in, German Pete, Birdman etc. I spent the next three hours listening and learning everything I could about my motorcycle. That was in 2002.

The original Texas X Riders site had its own chat room in it. That's where we organized the first Bluebonnet Thunder.

I joined back in 2008 and probably went to my first BBT in Fredericksburg in 2009.  haven't looked back since.

Do you remember a guy that went by the name Wild Bill?? I have his VTX 1800R. When I bought the X from him he told me some stories of days gone past.
