My buddy & I are going to ride up to Hico on Saturday afternoon, 11/2, and check out the Trading Post. We will leave Copperas Cove around 2:30-3:00pm, take Hwy 116 N to Gatesville, hit Hwy 36 to Jonesboro, then take FM 1602 over to Hwy 281 and then into Hico. Will probably grab something to eat while we are there. The invitation is open to whoever wants to join us.

I have been planning to do that trip as well... Let me know if you will go back any time soon.

Ended up not going. Had somethings hold back my depart time so I would've been home later than I had planned. Ended up riding down FM 2657 to Oakalla, took 223 west to Hwy 183, crossed over to 209, followed that to 1174 and then went south to Bertram, turned left onto 29 and went to Liberty Hill. Had dinner at the Sonic & then hit Hwy 183 North to FM 2657, then back to Copperas Cove. That was about 100 mile ride.
