BIG A and I talked about a Central Texas Tech Session at last Austin Bike Night. BIG A has his own shop (he is a mechanic). I think he mentioned having a tech session at his shop on the old board. We would have to ask him of course. I don't know if he works on his X or Wing, but inviting Tapper down for a tech session would be great (if he has the time...he is ALWAYS busy). Who knows, maybe with summer approaching they both might find the time to teach us "newbie" motorcycle mechanics some stuff. It couldn't hurt to ask, both are great guys!!!!

the offer still stands, if ya'll want to get something together one weekend, i have plenty of room and a jack, we can do whatever ya'll want to do, it's just i'm going to be out of town the next two weekends, but rally are these weekends anyway, maybe something toward the end of thr month ;)

The last weekend of may is my b-day, so i may not be able to attend. The following weekend is ROT. If it's the weekend of my b-day I'll do my best to attend. Maybe the following weekend after ROT>  ;D

Not claiming to be an instant wrench - but I did my own valves last Thursday - not as hard as I thought it would be at all. I'll show up to look over shoulders and give a Harumph when needed.
Oh yeah - I should be getting my Roadhouse slip-ons in by the end of this week - Wahooo! - gonna put'em on as soon as I make the time.
Anything further on this possible tech session and what everyone needs done?

I remember we talked about this a few months ago.  I offered up my garage, but since then we have sold the house, moved into a duplex, and are waiting for our new house to be built.  Talk about stress...  Anyway, I had said my garage was available, but since we went from 2 car garage to a 1 car garage, and lost 800sf of house space, my garage is out.  I guess if I'm involved, it will be at someone elses place (BigA)...

BigA, Is it possible to have the techsesion at your place? How about June 10th, this is the weekend after ROT. I know some of us would want to bolt on some of the goodies that we purshased/won at ROT. Guys, what do you think?

would like to do it but on the 10th. i will be fishing on lake fork in the skeeter owners tournament, but maybe in the next weekend or so. 8) :)
