Elio Motors now takeing orders.

I like it. I like the price. It looks like a Canam with a shell for way less than I paid for my X. 84mpg!!! my X gets 30mpg down hill with a tail wind. I would post a link but I am sure someone here can do that because my computer skills are lacking. It may not be made in Texas but close enough. Yes I know its not a real motorcycle but for some of us who are getting a little long in the tooth the thought of air conditioning around town and on those 110 days sounds good.

I wish them luck. 

If they can produce a product for the price, mpg, and safety that they are claiming, i would take a GOOD hard look at something like this for my daily driver to and from work.

oh and you will need a class M license for this thing in Texas.  and all the helmet laws/regulations that come with it.

a thing about motorcycle crash safety testing... is there such a beast?
