Buying parts and a tech session????
« on: December 23, 2012, 02:51:21 PM »

My 1300 is in desperate need to replace the fork seals and replace the rear brakes.  I am getting ready to order parts and wondered if anyone else needed stuff and therefore we could order together and split shipping.  Also I will be needing to do the work to replace these parts, so thinking a tech session would be in order.  Not sure what weather will be like in the next month or two, but wanted to start getting an idea of interest.  Assuming it will take a couple weeks before parts arrive, I am looking at mid-end part of January...the only Saturday I am open is Jan 19th, but am open all Sundays in Jan.  If it moves into Feb, then I am open Sat, Feb 16 or 23, or all Sundays.  Let me know in the next few days if you need parts and/or are interested in a tech session.

If I am in town I'll come and hang out, might consider helping out, but I am up to snuff on my bike.

REMINDER

I am going to order parts this Friday for my bike and Wayne's...speed bleeders, fork seals and brake pads.  If you want to add stuff to the order and split shipping costs please let me know by this Friday.

I will be making a decision about the date for the tech session after the order is placed.  I am thinking it will be 2-4 weeks from now, depending on weather.

As I mentioned last night at the Meet 'N Greet, I'd like to order eight speed bleeders for my '08 Goldwing.  I'll need the same size as required for the VTX 1300 (HDL Part No. SPE-SB8125L).  They are sold in pairs, so I'd like to order four pairs.
