Yeah, my grass is pretty thick now.  Which is a nice change from last year.

My son mowed our grass 2 days ago when we had a small break in the rain. Hope everyone else is staying high and dry.

They eased the water restrictions in Austin overnight. The lakes are still too low, but it's nice to see some green.

Got enough rain around Waxahachie to get everything green again. Back to mowing again, it's better than last year.

Houston area - got up and rode this morning - I needed the therapy (or maybe I need therapy) - great ride only about 30 mins of getting soaked, go to hang out under a bridge for about 10 minutes,  but I feel great now - I'm going to hold off on washing the X until the rain chances go down...

I don't care what other people think. They don't do it very often!
Of Course it's dirty. It's hard to clean when the tires keep moving.

I'm guessing we got around 7-8" of rain over here.  Lori tried to get out on Thursday and found two of the three main roads closed due to flooding, but she found one way to get through.  We received our emergency alert phone call that morning around 4am that a flood warning was up for our area, so I got up and checked the radar and saw what we were in for.  I grabbed the video camera and went out and videotaped our front yard "river" that was flowing down the left side of our house...if I had a raft, I could've ridden some impressive rapids.   ;D  The dogs loved it...like kids in a candy store, and the grass is freakin' long.
