My BBT adventure
« on: May 07, 2012, 09:12:39 PM »

If there is another 10 years of BBT, I may never have another adventure like this year's.

There are so many of you that went out of their way to help me and Tinkerbell that I will have a hard time listing them all, but I'll try.

Txcajun: without his help I would not have been there. Also helped by not letting me party in a sober condition. :cool2:

Jim and Janatha: How hospitable can anyone be? Feed me fajitas, beer and voltage to keep mine and Tinkerbell's phone charged, not to mention make me laugh. I'll see you guys shortly to pick up what you brought home for me.  :notworthy:

sgtstever: Loaned me his air mattress when I ripped mine open with a belt buckle. A REAL life saver.  :c

TomVTX: Turned me loose with his truck. No questions asked. I could have gone anywhere. >:D

RedDragon: Went 50 miles out of his way to make sure I had a ride to Kerrville.

beaux43: Phone research to help find another tire.

Several others: That offered whatever they had to help.

...and last but certainly not least, my buddy Hooter: Who did way too much to mention, but also gave me my first ride in the hill country with the opportunity to see the scenery.  :what:

I'm proud to be part of this group. It's a great feeling to know that we are the kind of friends that will go to great lengths to help each other in a time of need. I saw many old friends and got to know some others better. I look forward to next year.

It was a great adventure, even if my stupid tent outlasted my bike.

See 'ya next year if the bearings ever get here,

Hobo

I traded a day of my life for it.

Whatever you want to do, do it now.
