There was a write up years ago about the Hurricane giving you the most possible airflow with the Tornado in a close 2nd. I have the Tornado and have driven back to Allen from Fredricksburg in non stop rain with no problem and have been stranded on the side of a mountain in the Smoky's during what could only be described as a monsoon with no problem. Just keep it oiled, you'll be fine.

Bought one a while back and it's still sitting on the shelf. When I get around to it..............I'll get it mounted to my bike. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/KNN-RK-3916

I think the 1300 is the only ones that have problems with the rain. Because they have a carb.
