If I add a SD memory card to my Zumo 450, will that allow me to add a larger map? I have deleted all of the cache files and still can't load the US - Canada map...... All I could load was the SW US map.

I have the 550 and have ran into the same problem with updating. When I did a NA update last year updated the entire system even though it took like 14 hours but just my old puter. This year did the same thing and like you will not update the entire map system have not had time to really look into it.I will have to give Garmin a call and see what is up with the new way they are doing things.Wll let you know what I find out should not be much difference between the two.

I won't say the TOM TOM is totally useless, but its close to it. I got one for Christmas, it gets lost more than I do.

same problem on my 550 too.  the new maps are just HUGE!

i added a sd card to the zumo 550, and just loaded ALL maps onto the SD card.  it works just fine.  I think i even removed the old maps off of the built in memory.
