was looking at putting one of these on my 06 1800r and didnt know which was better than the other and if anything else would have to be done to the jets?

I thought that the 1800'S were fuel injected , thus no jets.

I would go with the K&N unless you just like the looks of the hyper charger. Correct Steve, The 1800 is FI but you already knew that.

K&N way better performance wise. Best to make the mods you plan on doing with both intake and exhaust. Pick up a powercommander and then have it mapped.

I've had a Hypercharger for years... and it has always been in the way of where I would like to place my knee while riding...

I have a k&n in my hypercharger. I personally don't have a knee problem with my hyper, but maybe it was made just for me

Performance wise the K&N is definitely better. The Hypercharger is great for looks. All depends on which you want more, performance or looks.
