Glad we hit Big Bend earlier!

Any later and we might not have enjoyed it as much! This photo from McDonald Observatory was just released  :ohwow:

That 2 acre brush fire we came across outside of Presidio could have been a lot worse looking at these pics!

Man that is bad. The sad part is I think it's going to get worse if we don't get a lot of rain soon.

Awesome picture, it is a shame to see it all go up in flames, good news is it will recover  :thumbup:

If I remember correctly, we passed the beginnings of that same fire when it was small just before we got to Fort Davis, didn't we?

I hate to see it burning and hope they can contain it, although with that much area covered in fire, it's going to be near impossible, but damn, what an awesome picture.

That was a fire in Presidio.

I definitley remember the Presidio fire but I thought I remember seeing a fire or burned areas to the West of Ft. Davis as we came into town.
