I gotta get me one of those.  I saw Dwight's videos from his Go Pro a few years ago.  He mounted his on the left side of his bike toward the back, and it was a very cool vantage point.

  Bryce tried it today on my 3/4 helmet mounted on the side works pretty good  and very solid.The only thing I need to do is move it a hair then the helmet will not be in the way.The only problem when playing back on the go pro sound and all worked great but on the desk top no sound and the video was not smooth at all but could just be the puter.What program did you use to download might have to upgrade my quick time video.

  Yesterday was out on the bike all day and did more experimenting with the gopro with about 2 hours worth of video and 2nd degree sun burn lol.I watched it last night and looked like a haze across the picture and think headed into the sun with the cam so close to the helmet was picking up glare from it and also may have had it tilted up a hair to much.So today rode around in the car holding it out the window and driving into the sun was much better so now just need to order me some more curved mounts.Also another site said to play it back on your tv and not on the puter the files are to large and takes awhile.

well, i have a mac, so i am using iMovie

but these things record a very large and thick file.  are you copying the file off of the gopro before you try and play it?

well, i have a mac, so i am using iMovie

I have one, If i have it hooked to a USB 1.0 it is too slow to play from the camera, have to download it first, plays fine from the camera if hooked to a USB 2.0 port.

I was just looking at them tonight on Best Buy's website.  That's right, you can buy them from Best Buy and take advantage of their no-interest financing.  I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one myself.  They have two flavors.

You guys with the Go Pro, did you go with the 720 HD or the 1080 HD? Anyone with the 720 HD completely happy with the resolution?

  I went with the 1080HD version as did Bryce and so far love it.Also buy the LCD  back that you can get for it makes all the difference in the world.The only draw back is trying to play it back have to use my tv the files are so big and my puter so old takes to long to load and is very slow and jerky.

Was about to pull the trigger on one yesterday, spoke to a GO PRO Factory Rep yesterday at the store he was telling me they will be releasing a new camera that will have a wireless remote.  Look like I am going to wait till then, he thought it would be out in the next 60 to 90 days
