2006 Harley-Davidson FLHTCUI Ultra Classic ...trying again
« on: October 16, 2010, 02:04:40 PM »

2006 Harley Davidson Ultra Classic FLHTCUI        $14,000
Color:  Cobalt Blue
Mileage:  ~54k cross-country and local miles
Excellent condition

I'm rearranging some goals in life and the sale of the bike will help me achieve them. No problems what-so-ever with this bike. I really hate to sell it, but life calls. It runs and rides like a dream, or a scared rabbit when you need it to. I've not had it dyno-tested, but it has impressive power for this 88 cu. in. Maintenance has been completed at Harley's recommended intervals and only synthetic oils since my ownership began in Jan 2007. Pictures shown with and without tourbox. The quick-connect of the tour-box make it easy to go from sporty to touring in a matter of minutes.

Custom Accessories include:
-H-D chrome laced wheels
-Hooker exhaust
-Dynojet power commander
-Klock Werk flared windshield (makes a huge impact on buffeting at high speeds!)
-H-D fairing mounted mirrors
-H-D chrome axle nut covers
-H-D Flames front fender skirt
-H-D Flames air cleaner trim
-H-D highway pegs
-H-D premium air horn
-H-D shorty antennas
-Kuryakyn LED turn signals front and rear
-LED tail light with sequential turn signals and initial flashing brake light
-detachable tour box kit
-driver back rest
-drink holder
-H-D Bar & Shield hand grips
-Kuryakyn 7-color LED Lizard lights with variable speed flash and steady options
-H-D fitted saddle bag liners with lid organizers
-premium king tour pak luggage (bags for the tour box and saddle bags).

This bike is also equipped with standard accessories from the factory on the FLHTCUI including CB, AM/FM radio/CD, intercom, cruise control, air temperature gauge, cigarette lighter. I will also throw in the service and owners manuals.

Thanks!

Thanks guys for the compliments.  I hope it does sell soon.  If not, I've been thinking of setting up shop down on a corner at the LSR...

Hey it wouldn't hurt to park it on the strand along with the other bikes at LSR and post a big FOR SALE sign on it with a number to call. Carry your cell phone with ya as you party around town and let the calls come rolling in!

That's a great idea!  I was thinking of trying to find a spot on the beach wall too, near the other location for vendors.

Hey!  Want to earn some extra cash?   :ohwow:

No, I'm not selling Amway, I'm trying to sell my bike.   ;D  What's in it for you?  I will give 5% of the final sale price (that's up to $700) of my bike to the X rider or enthusiast (for those who aren't riding X's) who brings the buyer.  If you come across someone who is seriously interested, contact us with their name and have them call us.  If they buy the bike, the cash is yours.  For serious inquiries only, please contact MRVTX or myself via email/PM and we will get our contact info to you.

Ride safe and see you at LSR! ;)

If this was an FLTRX, I'd be all up on it.  I'm in the market for a Road Glide.  I'll keep an eye out on anyone looking for a ride like this one.

were you able to sell the bike after all?? if not you could possibly set your bike at Galveston Custom cycles as consignment... i believe they do 10%... they have a lot of people going in and out of their shop cause they are located directly next to the loading dock (bar).

Let me know if your interested and i can talk to the owner of the shop for ya
