WOW, there were a couple of times that I thought these guys would no longer be a part of "the men's club"...especially when they would drop down onto that pole after standing on top of it  :ohwow: :ohwow: :ohwow:

I got so inspired I decided to go outside and try it on a telephone pole -- Got splinters all in my leg  :ohwow: :ohwow:

A test of strength, balance and coordination.  I would put that up there with any of the Olympic gymnastic events as far as training and dedication.  I have not looked it up, but I am sure these skills have derived from workers that have been climbing coconut and date palms in southeast Asia for centuries.  The same way lumberjacks compete in test of skills they use in their profession.
