Welcome - as far as mods go - that is up to you. They seem to fall into two categories though - performance or aesthetics. Look around the national website (they seem to have more pictures), check out http://tech.vtxoa.com/, and browse the online catalogues of our sponsor HDL http://www.hondadirectline.com/ and other parts and accessories dealers.

If there's going to be a HER on the back of the bike alot then you should probably save the floorboards money and invest it in a Mustang seat  O0
I know my wife didn't stop complaining till I got her one  ;D
Enjoy the new bike :)

Thanks Paddyo.   will have to look into the Mustang seat.

Is doing an airbox mod also worth it?  If so any suggestions?

You might want to look at Ultimate seats, as well.  Lots of folks own either that or the Mustang.  I did a lot of reading before deciding....you can probably find someone in Austin who has one of each so you can compare.  Check out the Ride board for M&Gs (Meet and Greet) there in Austin....

Cheers,

I highly recommend sitting the top 3 or 4 seats if you get a chance.  While you won't HATE any of them most likely, it's still better to be educated.  One might be just the right margine better for you to make you want it over another.  10% happier on your seat is a lot, after a few thousand miles.

Welcome aboard.

I agree on the after market seats.
I also the Stebel air horn mod, progressive fork springs, progressive shocks, pair valve mod, handle bar risers, and Cobra Light Bar.

Safety and comfort are my biggies.
