I got a chance to seat on a new VT and also saw the Fury for the 1st time in person.   the new VT has better fit and finish than the old VTX1300.  I also liked the handel bars...  the Fury was

I test rode an Interstate. That is probably the finest riding, well balanced bike I have rode. It has great acceleration and handles like a dream. If I hadn't got such a great deal on the new 1800T I would have got one of the Interstates.

I'm with Gabe on the new VT's. More stylish than the Fury we saw. However I was disappointed to notice that while the Fury fuel tank was flangless, Honda didn't take the styling cue for the new VT's and instead stamped the fuel tanks like the VTX's.

Shaking my head sadly.

Also I was hoping to see the VT Saber with the 21 inch front tire but they sold that one yesterday. The other two models VT's still have the 18 in front tire.

Oh yeah and they had a DN-01 sitting there for $12,999, down from the $15,000 list. I was told they are not moving and the DN-01 acronym stands for ... "Do Not Order 1"

The Interstate is for sale at Russellville Honda in Russellville, Arkansas for $11,185.00. Last I checked they had several. They have a huge store one of the biggest I've seen.

Ride one and then make a judgment. They run extremely well and very responsive, acceleration is fantastic!. If I remember right the horsepower is up considerably versus the carbed 1300.

  add windsheild and bags to the stateline and you have the interstate for a cool grand. single disc front brake

  I had the chance to ride one the Stateline and would sell my VTX in a heartbeat and buy one might just do it but have to see what is going to happen in the next few weeks.The black one would be my choice.The only thing I would change is the pipes maybe a set of new pipes all black and a couple other things.

yea they are comfy but cant give up my 1800! i need it! Def have to change the pipes. They look like mattell made them for a matchbox bike.

looks like plenty of space tween the tank and engine, imagine there'll b a custom tank coming out quick. and does this mean all of honda's cruisers are now f.i.?
